Very good old school steak house with all you can eat salad bar at a reasonable price. Enjoyed the sirlon steak tips with onions, peppers, and mushroom gravy. Wife enjoyed the chopped sirloin which was a little overcooked. Recommend you order this dish no more than medium rare. You must try the peach cobbler. Very good

This is a popular place! On both of my visits (on a Sat and on a Sun), we had a 45-55 minute wait out the door. Your order at a counter and pay. Take your drink and ticket and sit where you like. A waitress will come and take your ticket. If you paid for a salad bar, go on up. Otherwise, she'll be back with your order soon. We had a couple of lovely steaks, baked potatoes and fries. Perfectly cooked and very tender. Aside form the long wait to get in, it was a fine experience. Seems to be very popular for group functions (parties). See photos: prices accurate as of March 2025.

Circle J Steak House is one of our favorite Blue Ridge “Go To” places when looking for a great meal! The food is always delicious and the employees are super friendly and attentive. Don’t hesitate to plan a meal here the next time you are in town or just passing through.

Went here at the suggestion of my mother-in-law and I was very pleasantly surprised. The place is unassuming and very laid back. Their menu choices are very clear and pricing is very reasonable. The wait staff was on the ball and took care of any requests very quickly while being friendly and personable. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful also. The food was served quickly and was very good. The baked potato alone was impressive. The salad bar was well stocked and provided a good selection. Highly recommended and I will stop in the next time I am in the area. Time: Saturday 7:30 pm Party of 5 (1 was 8 years old) Total bill $110 + tip. Large Sirloin, Large Ribeye (2), 1 cheeseburger plate and 1 kids cheeseburger plate. Really good sweet tea! Seated within minutes, great experience.

Had been years since I had been here. Ribeye Steak was Excellent, so tender and juicy! Baked Potatoes are popular and they are large...condiments to make it a loaded potato would have been nice. A Pitcher of Tea stays on your table...Now that is a smart move! Salad Bar is limited but nice. Staff are so kind and friendly...atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Plenty of different dining areas...room for everyone! Clean, large bathrooms. Might add, you stand in line at a counter to place your order...Plenty of choices are posted on wall to choose from. You are given your glass, salad bowl and utensils, your choice where to sit to enjoy your salad while waiting on your main course to be brought to your table.

Old school Steakhouse where Blue Ridge locals eat. Always good, it has been a community staple for many years. Fair prices.

Awesome experience!! Brings me back to the old fashion Western Sizzler days. Greeted with a smile and everyone was so kind! The food was AMAZING!! Self serve salad bar that has so many yummy things on it. And has real lettuce that is freshly cut- not that bag gassed junk. 3.8 oz ribeye cooked perfectly. Very tender & juicy. They even have homemade mushroom gravy that is like the old way. Followed up with warm homemade peach cobbler with ice-cream that you cannot go wrong with. And even half gallon pitchers on your table of sweet & un-sweet tea just for your own refills. I highly recommend taking the time to stop in and come hungry because you get a lot of food and even have a plate to take home for later goodness. Our waitresses was Julie and Sam is the awesome cook who made the steaks amazing!!
